So I disclosed to this girl I’ve been seeing, and honestly as I expected, she has initially accepted me and still wants to move forward with seeing me. She has expressed how much she likes me and how there’s more to me for her than just HSV. She has also done here research and she was surprised to discover how prevalent it is.

Despite her accepting me (for now), she has made it abundantly clear that she doesn’t want to catch it. This is obviously fair, but it’s making me feel like a diseased zombie. She wants me to take every precaution available, (daily AV’s, condoms, and boxers). Although I totally accept her requests, it fucking sucks. I don’t even really want to have sex under those circumstances. It won’t even be enjoyable for either of us constantly worrying about the spread. I also think she’s opposed to giving me oral right now. I honestly feel like I’d rather be single.
