Went on 5 dates total, told her after date #4. Went on one more date the other day, and she called me today to dump me. She told me it has nothing to do with me disclosing. Part of me does believe her; her initial reaction was very positive. But, she likely took time to think about it and came to the conclusion that I’m not worth the risk. She was very respectful and told me how great she thinks I am, and that her reasons for ending it here is because she feels that I’m looking for something more serious than her. This is a bit of a contradiction because she told me she wants a relationship. Either she just wants a more casual boyfriend, or she’s just full of shit and it’s the herpes disclosure that changed things. Bottom line is I’m 0/1 since my diagnosis 6 weeks ago. I’m feeling really discouraged.
