I’m a 23F I’ve been talking to someone for almost a year now. I’m ready to take the next step and move forward into a relationship. As things have gotten more serious between us. They recently disclosed to me that they are HSV-2 positive & They contracted the virus in the most heartbreaking way. I won’t go into the details since that is their personal experience. As people who are living with the virus. I would like some advice on how I can best support them. Prior to this I had very minimal knowledge about HSV-1 & HSV-2. I’m trying to learn more so I can better understand & better support then.
