I tested positive for HSV2 but they thought it was a false positive (it was 1.37) and so they tested me again a month later and it was positive again at 1.56. I’m annoyed because my husband is negative and the reason I was doing this test was for our open relationship. Because I’m planning on sleeping with another guy as soon as our tests come back clear.
But looking at the test that my other partner took it doesn’t even test him for herpes at all! Do I need to disclose that I have it? Should I tell him that we may want to wait another month to test again? I’ve never had cold sores nor an outbreak on my genitals. I don’t want to be deceitful, but we will for sure always be using condoms and I don’t think it’s fair that I have to disclose something that he didn’t even get tested for anyway…
