As the title says, I'd like to read a fic or two where Felix Felicis is put to good use. Here are some story attributes that I think I'd like, though any individual one is not necessary:

• history of Felix Felicis (cultural, legal) without getting too myopic and expositional
  • logically sound reasons why it can't be used all the time, with clarity on when it can and has been used (It must be able to be used sometimes, or people wouldn't make it!)
  • Ideally this would be something better than the cliche "the ingredients are really expensive"
  • and fit within a story, not just an essay on this topic
• 'what if' scenarios of if the Trio had Felix Felicis in various settings in canon, before or after it is introduced in canon (during the Horcrux hunt, or the night of the full moon in PoA)
  • combine with time-travel fix it?!!
• 'What if' for if secondary characters had Felix Felicis for canon scenarios
• Canon-compatible inserts where a side character uses Felix Felicis
  • for example, say Roger Davies got his Yule Ball date with Fleur via Felix Felicis
    • he is a Ravenclaw after all, he could brew it or get it from a classmate who knows how
