So of course we know the usual, Dumbledore is evil and is using spells and potions to get everyone on his “side” and everyone is trying to help Dumbledore use Harry.

However, what is everyone was trying to just use Harry but they were separate and what Dumbledore wanted was nothing what others wanted.

Like Dumbledore wanted someone he could manipulate and mold into ‘the hero he wanted’ and to do as he wanted.

Ginny grew up with hearing about the “great Harry Potter” and developed a crush on him and wanted him to be her husband.

Molly just wanted to make sure her only daughter had a good life and have whatever she wanted. She’d never admit it but her only daughter was her favorite child. And she’d do anything to make sure she was happy.

Hermione understood that allying herself with the savior of the wizarding world would help her as a muggleborn. And that he was rich so he could get his hands on rare books.

Ron just wanted to get out of his brother’s shadows and make a name for himself. What better way then be the best friend of Harry Potter? Didn’t really think of the consequences that he might always just be in his shadow once again but still he could be known as Harry potters best friend.

Just everyone who is normally being controlled by Dumbledore is just in it for themselves and they aren’t really “working together”.

And of course you can do this with basically every character that is normally being potioned by Dumbledore. Of course you will have some that just are in his side because he defeated grindelwald but I’m thinking more about the main characters.

Personally I think this would be more realistic. Any fanfics like it?
