Ok this is something that I was thinking about and I really can’t think of any fics that have it.

There are plenty of fics where Harry is the BWL and Dumbledore is super manipulative and kinda bad. Like with taking his money, marriage contracts, wanting Harry to be weak and guidable, etc.

But in all fics where Neville is the BWL he his always helping him and it seems like it’s always Neville and Dumbledore against Harry.

But are there fics where Dumbledore is just wanting to use Neville and and realizes how manipulative he is?

Like we know Neville’s uncle threw him out a window to provoke his magic, so what if Neville likes with him instead of his grandmother. And since they think he’s a squib they treat him horribly, then bam Dumbledore shows up and tells him he does have magic! There’s the part where Neville looks up to him, many people look up to him so urs not impossible he could do a lot more manipulations.

A powerful Harry and Neville. Would be great.

Any fics where it’s basically the regular Dumbledore is manipulating Harry. But it’s Neville as the BWL instead?
