Looking for fics where McGonagall takes Harry to diagon alley the first time. To me it always seemed weird that Hagrid did it because even though he is nice and relatively trust worthy, he doesn’t know as much about the wizarding world as someone like McGonagall so are there fics where she goes instead? I’d imagine she could tell Harry more about what to expect and how he should prepare for Hogwarts. Looking for longer fics that maybe go through all 7 years, would Harry be more confident if he knew more? Would he try harder in school because he knew his parents did well? Because id imagine McGonagall would tell Harry that she taught both his parents and that they did well
