Harry heard them. His senses had been heightened since the dementors attacked him and his cousin. And now wizards were invading his house. He grabbed his wand and moved as quickly and silently to the stairs as he could. He couldn't make out how many of them there were in the dark. But he could see them bunched together near the door. He would only get one chance at this. He wouldn't be able to take on that many opponents.
