I can't really read too well due to medical issues I won't go into, so I've took up audiobooks instead. Listening to the methods of rationality reawakened my harry potter craze in my teenage years. I have a very large tolerence for cringy stuff and op characters, so the things that bother most people about that fanfiction doesn't really bother me. Though there were a few topics I really wished the author stayed away from, no matter how logical it may be, it's just not the kind of thing you should mention directly, hint at it subtly if you absolutely must, like the original did in fact - but it was far too direct about those things for my comfort.
Anyway, my only requirement is that the fanfiction not focus on romance. It can have love in it, I would prefer if it didn't, but it doesn't bother me outright, but I just can't listen to something that is primarily love story - especially between kids.
I enjoyed 7th horcrux, that was funny, but also a bit short, and the guys voice was difficult for me to understand, but I don't think that's the voice guys fault but mine. I tried listening to prince of slytherin, but I dropped it pretty quickly because of how horrible the potters were to Harry, it boiled my blood so much! I might give it another go. I remember the first time I tried methods of rationality I couldn't get past that chapter when he first meets draco, but was pleasantly surprised when I tried it again and found it to be a lot more pleasant other than those handful of times.
Sorry for my poor grammar today, thank you for any recommendations you find for me.
