Hi! I’ve posted on here before about clearing GW warts in November 21. I was diagnosed end of October with what the doctor believed to be HPV. The bumps were just below the opening of my vagina and looking back I wish so badly I would have got a biopsy to know for sure. Anyways, I cleared them in a week thanks to medication. It has been 4 months since I’ve cleared the GW.

Recently I noticed two very small bumps at the top of my thigh, they resemble Molluscum Contagiosum, not warts. I say that because MC has the small white “core” in its center when you squeeze it. When my boyfriend inspected my spots back in November of 21, those spots had the same white center core. I didn’t know anything about MC until after I cleared the bumps. From strictly a visual prospective the Doctor thought it was warts (I went to an urgent care, probably not the best decision either) . I know both GW and MC can be similar, and it’s possible to have both. I have a few questions such as has anyone been misdiagnosed with GW and it was actually MC? Has anyone ever had GW and then later developed MC? I have not had anymore bumps around my genital area, which I’m so thankful for. Honestly when you go through something like HPV, every little bump or mark on your body can send you into an anxiety attack. I use this Reddit thread to vent so any information or opinions, I am thankful for!
