About 3 days ago I (24F) went to bed and noticed some pain when swallowing on my right side. The next day I could feel a lump at the intersection of my neck and my jaw on the side. It kind of hurts when I press on it.
When I look at the back of my throat, the right side is swollen. These are my only symptoms so far.

I got tested for STIs/STDs about 2-3 months ago. It came back clear but it's possible I could have come into contact with something since.

I'm going to take an appointment with my doctor tomorrow but it could take a while before I'm seen. In the meantime I'm going to be very stressed. I won't be having sex or kissing anyone until I get my results.

I'm so scared. I know it's not a death sentence but it will cause complications in regards to dating.
