I need some advice and help got 2 questions I hoped people could help me with actual experience.

1: I was diagnosed with hpv warts from my ex girlfriend and after we ended the relationship she told me she was indeed hpv positive but hpv 16, and now I don’t understand why I get warts with hpv 16, she actually knew she had hpv but did not wanna tell me while we were together so we could have sx without condom.

My first question is, how is that possible?

2: I had hard time to clear up the warts and right now I wanna check if I have warts left but don’t wanna shave to check it.

So second question:

To men who cleared the warts do you shave down there or could I never shave only trim for rest of my life ?

And I got ocd from having hpv so I always carry full when I pee and touch my penis I feel like iam dirty all the time, and thinking about how I will ever have sex again and get blowjob or give oral to my future girlfriend after I have been with her when I know now that I have hpv. How to overcome this ocd ?
