I've recently been reading Unplanned by Exarite on A03 and it's set with Tom Riddle and Harry going to school together in Harry's time, Grindelwald killed the Potters and Tom is obsessed with Harry to the point of distraction Every character fits into Harry's timeline, it's just that Tom's story happens much later. So there's no cross over with characters from the far past with the ones we recognise from being from Harry's time.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any more stories like this, where Grindelwald is the dark Lord, and Tom and Harry are at school with Dumbledore etc.?

I really loved this fix and feel like there should be way more like it, because there's no time travel it's just that Tom Riddle's timeline happens later.
