7-7 error booted in linux to see if seen in USB

Was told to try my HP reverb g2 in Linux to see if it was seen in thee UBS and the following came up

Microsoft corp.

Cypress semiconductor corp.

HP, inc.

Cypress semiconductor corp. cy4603

VIA LABS,inc. usb2.0 Hub

but only show when headset is powered on.

I forgot to power off the headset during booting back into windows 10 and once in windows 10 the headset hp logo on the front stayed on until i ran the Mixed Reality Portal software then the Hub started going nuts and the HP logo on the front of the headset turned off and error &-7 came up in the window for the Mixed Reality Portal software.

Also the Corsair Icue sofeware that controls my mouse did not start and would not start until i powered of the headset - never had any problems with using that software with the headset when it was working before..
