Received it a couple weeks ago and am very happy with it. Of course there are some things I wish were better (tracking, audio cutting in and out from sensitive headphones, cheap controllers), but the clarity of the display really takes VR to another level.
And with a few games such as Pavlov and Moss I can raise the SS to 200%, making them look absolutely phenomenal. If you think Alyx looks good at native resolution, play Pavlov at 200% SS. The detail and sharpness are unreal (or...real?).
I've also been really enjoying it with Elite Dangerous. Add voice recognition software and you have yourself quite the space sim. Even free stuff like Google Earth and Aircar are worth showing off for quite a while.
Anyway, is it the whole package headset "without compromises"? Absolutely not. As many others have said, tracking is just ok most of the time and I still much prefer my Quest for games like Beat Saber. But for the display, it's absolutely worth the price.
