I casually used my HP Reverb G2 yesterday, which I had for 2 years now, just playing truck sim as it suddenly started flickering in both eyes with random black and colorful lines going all over the view and eventually either left or right eye shut down completely one at a time with black lines still popping here and there. I thought it's some cable issue as usual, unplugged it and plugged back in but it didn't help.
Today I decided to reinstall nVidia drivers (I have 3080) and WMR app, but it didn't help either. I tried to re-plug all wires and nothing changed. Then I reset environment in WMR and still no result. Finally when I switched to 60Hz it worked as usual, flickering was gone.
Does anyone know what the hell happened? Why does it work properly at 60Hz and goes insane at 90Hz? I didn't really change or update anything, I was just using it as usual.
