HP Omen touchpad

Hi. I’ve bought an Omen 16 laptop recently and its touchpad sometimes doesn’t work properly but if turn the touchpad off and on by FN F 11 its back to normal and again after some minutes it starts to malfunction. Any help about if its hardware or software issue? Ps: the touchpad drive is up to date. Thanks a lot
