Laptop Repeatedly Crashing When Playing Civ 6

Post Body

Hello -- I recently bought an HP Omen 16 Laptop (first got it less than two weeks ago), directly from HP. It has so far generally been a very good and fast laptop, and particularly for gaming -- boots my games up near instantly (though, I am not a regular gamer, I only play a few games, so am not particularly sure if this is notable lol)

Recently (as in, the past couple days) my laptop has been repeatedly crashing & restarting when playing Civilization 6 (the only game I have played in the past few days). This happens at random times in game (so does not appear to be related to any ingame reccuring events). I have no other apps open other than either Civ 6 and Steam or just Civ 6 alone. Suddenly, my screen goes black, the omen symbol shows up for a second, and then it shows the login screen and when I login no apps are open, as if I had just restarted the computer.

When looking in the Reliability Monitor in Control Panel, every instance simply says "Windows was not properly shut down", with the problem details simply being "The previous system shutdown at <time> on ‎<date> was unexpected." with no further elaboration.

Looking in the Event Viewer, it says the source of these restarts is "Kernel-Power" (Suggesting the issue is something to do with the OS, I assume?) , with the event ID 41. Description: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

My Windows OS is up to date. These crashes have happened both when the computer is plugged in and when it is not. Running a power troubleshoot only states that my brightness is above default (which I really don't think should cause repeated crashes?).

I have not made any modifications to the computer's hardware. The computer came pre-installed with Windows 11. The CPU is a AMD Ryzen 7 6800H and the GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU.

I have attempted both updating my graphics driver to the very latest version, and disabling f.lux (night light program). I restarted after both of these, and the situation has not changed.

**tl;dr*\* Computer repeatedly crash-restarting while playing Civ 6. Event Viewer calls this error Kernel-Power, with event ID 41. Help? I hope I have provided all required information in the above post.
