is there a reason that there has been no discussion of how to exploit the pensieve?

It seems to me a way to take a memory from a living mind and put it in another is at least a really good way to overcome the interdict of merlin. There could be lots of other things you could use it for depending on how exactly it works. If the playback is faster than 1 to 1 you could use it to learn things faster, if it isn't you could still use it to get broader perspective on problems, and it's use in the original is to provide external computing hardware for wizards.
