Management Company overreach?
Post Body

The Community Manager emails our 3 person board notifying the new chair person for the AAC step down and another individual has requested to be the chairperson for the committee. She was not one of the top three candidates for 2 of the board members (the 3rd wasn’t voted in at the time of the initial nominations)the community manager closes with “just wanted to run that by you for your opinion. Please advise.”

Is this a violation of the Texas bylaws to have a community manager suggest or essentially nominate a chair person for a committee? The 2 board members opted to have private conversations among themselves and not have any communication with the new 3rd board member and voted in a person who probably does not have the best temperament for a HOA committee. I’m still searching my bylaws however I do not see anything specific regarding this topic. Thank you in advance for assistance and guidance.
