My thoughts today after my ex ranted to me.

Not only did you not meet my needs, you rejected them. In some cases mocked them. Not only did you not try, you didn’t even try to understand.
You were safe. Safe in the bubble I provided. So Safe that you didn’t have to try to try. Safe in the knowledge that I wouldn’t or couldn’t leave.
Until I did.
So spare me the shock and the hurt. You knew the game you were playing. I just chose not to play anymore.
And now I’m safe. And happy. 😊
