So I’m getting ready for work this morning and my LL wife is watching the local news. I’m not paying attention. She says “I don’t think you’ll ever have to worry about that”…

Huh? It’s a commercial for erectile dysfunction. Yeah 56 and and that has never come up. Or not come up as the case may be. The little guy only gets a couple at-bats per year so he has to be ready to make the most of them when he’s called in to the game.

Then the tagline plays - something like <blue pill> will get you your love life back. “Nope that’s not gonna do it”, I say aloud.

“You have a love life, it’s just….sporadic” she replies.

If sporadic means about as often as adjusting the clocks for daylight savings, then yeah but I would use the phrase ‘on the edge of extinction’ personally. She opts out of continuing the conversation.

Why talk about it if we aren’t going to talk about it?
