Been several years now at both US locations and I love it, but am continually a bit bummed that I never get too truly scared just because there’s always people right before and ahead of me so you hear/see the other scares and there’s not too many surprises.
Going to smaller indie haunted houses is a whole different experience because most I’ve been to purposely stagger groups so there’s always a decent amount of space before/after you for real scares.
I wish there was a way for me to be able to experience the HHN houses that way, but with wait times as long as they are already, I’m not even sure how it would be possible for them to do so without making them unbearably long. Maybe adding on an extra night or two with higher priced (even largely so) tickets specifically to do it in a spaced out way?
I go to multiple events/houses each year and just treat HHN as more in a full event and enjoyment /taking in everything rather than getting fully scared, but I wish I could experience it somehow in the way I do smaller company’s houses.
Thoughts?
