Universal parks and resorts announced two new expansions to regional markets today. One being a kids park in Texas, the other being a massive 110,000 square foot year round haunted attraction in Las Vegas. No details on when it could open, or what it would be, but this is easily a small version of HHN that will likely serve as an advertisement for the larger parks. It will be located in the Area 15 district, which houses different amusements and installations, like the meow wolf omega mart.
This is actually going to be the anchor for a 20 acre expansion. It will feature food and drinks and will be one thing by day, and different by night. It will also change with the seasons…and yes, will feature IP’s, as well as original content. The concept art features Jack, and a decrepit old building. This is what’s left of a concept that was shelved years ago, and I won’t be surprised if more don’t pop up around the country.
