Discovery + vs MAX. Which is better to have?

I know MAX has more options of things to watch (movies, series, etc) I’m not a big movie watcher so I’m only interested in the HGTV/DIY portion of MAX over Discovery . Is there anything that MAX carries, or doesn’t carry, that Discovery does or doesn’t? I’m trying to shave some monthly and don’t want to pay for both. Any input on why I should have one over the other would be appreciated.
