They Came From Earth...pt 3
Post Body

Thirteen days on board a human vessel and I have never been more fightened and confused. The common Ortharian is able to read, see and hear surface level thoughts of most races; provided we maintain eye contact. This is not a problem thanks to our compound eyes, and nearly 360 degrees of vision; couple this with an ability to turn our heads 180 degrees, and we are able to percieve many potetial threats through our sight and telepathy...however; as soon as the first humans entered my pod and stared into my very soul, showing it's predatory teeth in their grisly "smile", my brain was assaulted by all manner of horrific visions of torture and carnage. Not just of me and my species but countless others and even their own kin; I let out a horrified screech as I was dragged into the clausterphobic dark corridors of the human vessel.

As we made our way through the ship; I saw many forms and subspeicies of human. Some were huge and muscular with large tusks jutting out from their lower jaws, and a slight green tinge to their skin-tones; while others were short, and squat with long beards and arms as thick as a plasma cannon. Still others were tall and thin, their wirey frames look as if they are almost skeletal in nature; but the ones that horrify me the most are their hybrids. One out of every ten of these variants is an animalistic hybrid, mostly canine, feline or reptile, though I noticed some of an avian, insect, or amphibian variety; but all were bipedal, and had the similar expressive features inrinsic to all humans.

Over my imprisonment and interrogation I have discovered a number of things. The source of these hybrids is the humans' incredible skill with genetic tampering and splicing; allowing them to practiaclly design their offspring to their liking. This is also the source of their marines, who are said to be genetiaclly perfect; smarter, faster, and stronger than any normal man or woman ever could be. The second peice of information I've discovered is their skill with robotics; creating simulacrum and androids that are almost impossible to dicern from a normal human of flesh and blood...as well as powered armor suits, prothetics and robots that fight alongside them in their wars.

The last thing I learned however is what shocked me; they seek an end to this war as much as we do, and I was unable to detect any falsehood in the captain when he said this to me. The captain is the only human that has ever truly facinated and humbled me; as his mind was not violent, but eerily calm and peaceful. He spoke softly and with conviction.

"Back when this whole mess began; I understand there was some greivious misunderstandings on both our parts...but I think we all have a better idea of just who we are dealing with."

The translator that was implanted into my cranium made the captain's speech patterns recognizable to me, and easy to comprehend; and thus I did my best to copy using my mandibles to form the complex syllables.

"We hurt each other...can't go on...must find peace."

The captain scoffed as he hears this; thinking back to earth and how the republic senate and their council of 13 would think of this.

"Try telling that to the rest of humanity. Everyone else is gunning to wipe you out; galatic senate or confedercay members or not."

"we must try" i stutter in retort.

"Alright smartass. What's your plan? I got all day..."

The captian leans back, as he pick up a primitive writing device and a pad of what humans call "paper", as he awaits my desperate attempt to save my species from extinction, and humanity from a galatic war.
