Need help with Staking!

Hey, I've connected my wallet multiple times on Hex.com (MetaMask) and went to the stake section, though the wallet is connected, it website was still saying that it's trying to connect for over an hour on the staking section. (Google Chrome)

It didn't connect so then I un-connected my wallet, re-connected multiple times and still nothing. One time my Hex disappeared on my chrome plug in wallet, thankfully it's there when I log in to the Meta app.

Am I supposed to SEND the Hex to the site or stake just by connecting?
