So we all know how bad the heat gets here in Texas in the summer, especially in South/southwest Texas. Temps at nearly 110-115°F per week, it's ridiculous. At my store CSAs double as PLAs, I don't do PLA due to medical restrictions. I've had fellow CSAs rant about the way we get treated poorly and such at our store. Just recently our managers cut off full-sized water bottles in exchange for the baby-sized water bottles and only a certain amount is allowed every other hour. We're not allowed to bring any electrolyte filled drinks from home and are only allowed to drink the water that is provided to us in a cooler. It's not fair because the water is usually hot when those CSAs drink from it, and we've had a lot of them fall ill and pass out/vomit. They send people home early and complain we don't have enough CSAs working. Is this reportable to HR or??? I personally believe it's ridiculous since management ain't looking out for the partners that go out in this horrible heat.
