So yesterday, my manager called me in and had me sign an attendance policy form for calling in last week due to a doctor's appointment. Other Partners were in that office as well as one of the front end leads. I mentioned to him that I tried to get someone to cover for me but of course that wasn't possible. The lead who answered the phone when I called in said that I didn't sound sick on the phone so she doesn't get why I went to the doctor. I noted that I went to go see a specialist and I don't have to tell her exactly what I'm going to the doctor for, and of course my manager and that lead seemed annoyed when I said that. My manager then proceeded to tell me I look ridiculous and I should have a clean name badge (it's covered in 2 music pins but are on the outer edges of the badge) because I'm in a professional work area and should have a clean appearance. I also mentioned that there's other Partners with decorated name tags and badge reels, they've had it since I started working there (I've been at this store for nearly a year), and I don't get why he's calling me out on it and not others. He said that no one cares and no one wants to know what I'm into, either I clear it up or he'll give me another write up. The other Partners in that office were snickering as he told me that. There's been other situations where he got after me for calling out a front end lead who kept purposely misgendering me. From what I'm telling yall, how can I go about reporting to HR about this?
