Hi guys! Staying on bedrest and such I’ve come across/learned more about this case. I still don’t understand how so many unnecessary medical treatments, surgeries, etc were done on this poor woman seemingly without any doctors questioning it. Sure her mother was a good liar but I know people with real chronic illnesses who required years of testing before they could be diagnosed treated. These doctors/hospitals were complicit in her abuse and her body was unnecessarily damaged because of so. My question is if when she gets out, if she’d be able to take legal action against the doctors or hospitals? Could it be considered some form of medical malpractice? Would these doctors be able to face consequences or would they be protected? (I’m horrible at explaining/asking things so I hope this makes sense, lol)

Hurricane Katrina was a perfect cover for her unfortunately. That and doctor shopping enabled this.
