I’ve lost 125 lbs so far entirely through calorie deficit. It’s completely stalled and I know it’s because 1) that’s how it works 2) I’ve been big time slacking on my intake since getting comfy saying I’m under 300 and 3) it’s time to get to the gym.
I’m seriously SO intimidated about it though. I have access to a full gym at my local YMCA and PF, PLUS a full garage gym where I could go all by myself (all free weights there). But it’s like, I walk inside any of these and my brain just goes “what is lift? Time to go home”.
So yeah, here to find motivation and support, I guess. I know if I surround myself with gym content, it should help me want to BE gym content. I just don’t know how to get passed the mental brick wall of this (which is ridiculous because it’s just lifting!). Any advice or tips on that aspect would be beyond appreciated.
