Just curious to know what your take on cutting is.
Usually I’ve always started cutting around this time of year and reduce my calorie intake and continue with the same weight lifting routine (x5 p/w).
I’m 5”7 male- currently 81kg. (178.5lbs) Aiming for 68kg (150lbs) by end of May 2024.
I’ve dropped calorie intake to 1800 and am planning on cutting when weight loss will plateau.
I only implement cardio mid way through and increase this to 3-4 mornings at the end. Cardio of choice is running, do between 3-5k runs.
Do you do anything differently? Have you got any tips to make things a little more interesting?
My cuts usually take a while but would be interested in cutting the time frame down, though when I’ve done this in the past I’ve found I put on weight quicker afterwards.
