Apple cider vinegar instead of kombucha?

Hi loves! I’m wondering if drinking apple cider vinegar would give me any of the similar benefits Kombucha does. I love kombucha but don’t love all the added sugar. I don’t really restrict my diet but i find eating my allowed calories and added sugar is way more satisfying than drinking it.
I’m thinking AVC> kombucha bc vinegar based items like kimchi and sauerkraut have been said to be staples for gut health. What do we think?
