Gas pain 3 weeks

Was curious if anyone has insight. Been having intense gas pain for a few weeks. Started as constipation but now just feel full. Been taking meta mucil along with stool softener but still feeling it. Went to the doctor and checked my stomach and said most likely acid reflux? But idk how thay can affect my stomach lower intestines. Been super stressed about it. Bowel movements are mostly normal once a day varying amounts. Been stressing hard about it :( feel like something is wrong.
