Hi, About 2.5 years ago I was diagnosed with CKD stage 2. Over a year later the number dropped from 85 to 66. They told me I would only get worse and never better. Then I stopped going.
Recently, 3 to 4 months, maybe longer, most of my poops have been diarrhea. I assumed it was related to CKD and I was probably stage 4 and needing dialysis soon.
I’ve been a beer drinker most of my life. I’m 51. I still drink 85% of the time since their CKD diagnosis. I started drinking the sweet malts that are 8% to get drunk faster. I stopped those recently.
I was just really sick with a 103 fever, vomiting, the worst headache ever, and diarrhea as always. I still had a blood test in my queue with the hospital, so as soon as I felt well enough, I used it.
My score that they use for CKD was way up to 97 from the low of 66. Either their CKD method is garbage or I beat it. Idk which.
Regardless, I’m well but still have chronic diarrhea. I’ve tried cleanses. I’ve tried anti-parasite med. I add fiber to drinks daily. I’ve drank raw milk several times. I drink cranberry juice with added vitamin powder daily. My best result comes from fasting 36 hours. No food, no poop. I lost 10 pounds too which is great, I am now at 185, goal is 170.
I don’t exercise tho I want to. I’m a truck driver working 10-13 hours a day. Again I’m 51 yo. I recently quit alcohol for 2 weeks straight, but the diarrhea stayed.
I’d love to hear suggestions.
