I’ve finally found a veggie that helps with my constipation. My acupuncturist actually told me try out our sweet potatoes.
However, I don’t think I’m handling the sugar/starch well. After having a quarter of a sweet ‘tater two days in a row, I’m having the same symptoms I used to have when my doc confirmed insulin resistance through a GTT test (palpitations, shortness of breath).
Does anyone know what’s so special about sweet potatoes that they can move the most sluggish of bowels? And in what other supplement or veggie can I find that same thing?
