Polymer frame

So should I spray solvent all on the inside of this or will it damage the polymer frame/safety mechanism
If so what's a good solvent to use
Have a lot of carbon build up on a few metal pieces that my nylon brush won't get off will a brass brush damage it
Also a lot of build up on feed ramp and around the striker area will a metal brush fuck that up trying to get it clean but the nylon isn't working
