Hey all. I have a legitimate question. I am a 40 year old current Florida resident. I know for some that’s plenty to judge me off of, but wait, there’s more. I am also 2 very distinctive things: a decorated military vet, and a convicted felon. Long story short, PTSD sucks and cocaine is a helluva drug. Moving on. It’s been 15 years since my arrests and Although I am a better human being than I was, my wonderful state will not lift convictions and allow me my rights back. I go to the ranges locally and shoot with friends, I have taught gun safety to people less knowledgeable than myself, and much more under this disgraced title. So now to the question: if I was to own a gun, knowing full well what the outcome would be if I was caught with or had to defend myself( cue the bracelet sound), would anyone in this chat want leniency for me?
