So I had been working on this project for a bit, I had initially finished it but wasn't quite feeling the clashing plastic-y bright red versus the darker metallic color scheme I had chosen so I decided to airbrush the remainder of it as you'll see how it turned out. As you'll see in the before and after photos. The before photos are all the way in the back. I also added some gold accents here and there, which I'm really loving how they turned out. Now all that's left is some panel lining and hopefully some water slide decals (if I can find any good third party or first party ones, btw if anyone knows of any for this kit or is selling some, please DM me 😅). As well as some minor touch ups to do here and there. Feedback and constructive criticism is welcome, I'm always looking to grow my skill set in this hobby.
I think I can finally say with confidence that I'm getting better with airbrushing. After much learning through trial and error. Mostly error though lol this is my third painted piece so I think it came out decent.
Overall though, I'm absolutely loving how the metallic colors came out. Definitely made a huge difference using a black 1500 primer before hand, the metallic shades look Soo much better with the black underneath. Especially the gold accents.
My next build is a custom painted MG Deathscythe Rousette Unit, so stay tuned for WIP pics coming up soon :D
