Took the long drive to gunnison today. Very excited albeit nervous (only second time.) Found a spot to lay down my towel and read my book. Soon after a couple sat down next to me. For the next hour they chuckled and made comments to each other about my body, for obvious reasons. After that hour I just decided to leave. It was the opposite of the experience I was hoping for. Iād like to go again before the year is over but Iām afraid this might have just left too bad of a taste in my mouth. Bummer.
