My wife and I started going to Gunnison last August and spent just about every weekend we could there this summer. It’s amazing how quickly this became our go-to beach and we were never really beach people. We mostly stayed in our spot, being shy and not venturing out as we are new to the whole being nude in public thing. We met a few people this year in passing and everyone is so friendly. Our biggest fear became a blessing instead. Last week we ran into a lifelong friend (we were both surprised!) who pulled us out of our comfort zone and dragged us around introducing us to many of the regulars. Can’t thank her enough for that. Yesterday we ended the season seeing whales, and even stepped out of our little area and walked to the water to get a good look. Hoping for a couple more trips during local summer, but this has been an amazing summer at Gunnison! If you see us sitting there playing Uno or Phase10 next year, stop by and join us. :-)
