Shortly after Eddie Van Halenās passing Dimarzio published an article (link below) in remembrance, specifically Larry Dimarzioās collaboration in creating the custom Dimarzio pickups found in the Music Man Wolfgang guitars.

Great article btw.
On the page the article begins, āMEETING VAN HALENā (page 3 of the pdf), the very last sentence reads:
āDave [Weiderman] told me [Dimarzio] that it [Tweed Deluxe] was an amp Eddie had used (not sure on what).ā
I, like many others, have always been interested in Edās tone but had never before heard any mention of him using a Tweed Deluxe. Really, it could mean anything. He couldāve just used it as a practice amp, who knows.
But what gets me is the ānot sure on what,ā which kinda presumes it may have been used somewhere on an album.
Since reading the article I have searched all over for anything related to EVH and the Tweed Deluxe and have found nothing but the article Iāve linked.
Does anyone have any further insight on this?
