Historically speaking, what are amps that really blend well with single coil pickups? I know that fender and single coils go hand in hand. But what are some specific models from fender that really bring the best out of any single coil you have used? For me, I have strat pickups, amazing tele bridge pickups in a couple guitars, jazzmaster pickups out the keister. I want a real fender amp one day, I hear from Ted Nugent that the super reverbs (I think that's what he said. I could barely hear him over stranglehold and gunshots in the background.) Is there any amps that yall have found to just really feel and sound fantastic when being recorded? I love ampeg amps too. If that broadens it out a bit more. Also I hear Hiwatts are kind of like fenders in the midrange,(if u turn the mids down. That was from Dave Friedman I do believe in one of the tone talks.)
