Sweetwater has the MKII 50 for $229, I see a used MKII 100 for $269. I'm trying to determine if the value add would be worth for me in my context :-
I'm looking for an amp to play at home with. That means I would mostly use it in the lower power setting, but if the value add in terms of tone and effects loop is worth it I would definitely go for the 100.
Over the last couple of years I switched to audio-interface studio monitors but there are many moments where the inertia of having to plug everything in and set up my laptop affects my practice. I'd like to just get out of bed, plug in and start playing. I understand that just an amp usually doesn't lead to the best tone but I'm speaking purely in terms of practice here.
Thanks for your 2 cents!
