My tone has been described as a hybrid between a Mesa Boogie dual rectifier and a Marshall JCM 800. I can’t afford either amps, are there any amps that are describe as a hybrid between the two?
I like clean sounding distortion if that makes sense, notes with clarity but can pack a punch. Preferably an amp I can use in any gigging situation and is a combo. I can afford about $1k for an amp.
