Learning Jazz Guitar
Post Body

TL;DR: any useful resources for learning jazz guitar?

So I've been playing guitar for ~7 years (self taught, mostly rock, etc). I've been really into jazz guitarists for a while, especially Pat Metheny and Al Di Meola, but I've never really been able to learn any of their songs because I lack any background in jazz whatsoever (In fact, that may be one of the reasons I like it so much - I can't predict what they're going to do!). Anyways, I finally decided to try to learn jazz guitar; are there any particularly good resources I should know about? I'm a fairly experienced guitarist, know a bit of music theory, know absolutely nothing about jazz theory.
