[GEAR] Almost dropped my beloved Strat

I've been using these D'Addario Planet Lock straps for quite a while and never had a problem. Then today I was playing along with Rory Gallagher's Moonchild and the plastic piece broke. I was able to catch my Strat before it hit the ground but it scared the bejesus out of me. Oh well, time for a trip to my local guitar shop.
