I inherited about 140 guitars from my late father. We have to move them from their current location to the city we live in, about 4 hours away. About half of the guitars have no case whatsoever, and another 20-30 only have soft shell cases. We need to find the best way to transport all of these in a Uhaul with the most minimal risk of damage possible (without having to buy cases for them all). Budget is flexible, but still limited.
Any advice?
Note: There will be other items in the truck as well, - large, heavy metal shelving (disassembled) like you would see at the grocery store, and lots of heavy boxes.
