So guys,

thanks again for help finding a guitar for my style of playing - looks like I'll get a Schecter C7 Hellraiser. I've played bass my whole life so I'm sure the bigger neck wont bother me too much (dont have the option of trying guitars out where im from to confirm if i like it or not) - if anyone here has any huge suggestions as to why I should get this guitar (or amp listed below) please let me know. I'm really going into this blind.

I'll most likely be getting a Peavy Vypyr based on several suggestions as well but I guess the most important question is what effect/pedal will I require for tone? I've loosely played guitar before but I know djent and metal have had some seriously big leaps since I played 12 years ago with technology in this field. I need something on the cheaper side as I'm still fairly inexperienced but any help will be great!

I'm looking for tones that will allow me to play djenty crap, deathcore, metal etc. I'll be borrowing a buddies 6 string for playing regular stuff and I believe the Peavy will have enough factory settings to pull off basic crap.
